Where does the time go?
We have been enjoying our summer and are excited for our upcoming camping trip. Once September hits, we will be starting the school schedule, yikes!
Hera at 5 months:
- 13 lbs.
- 3-6M clothing
- Size 2 Pampers (she always leaks poop out of her diaper - perhaps time to change to cloth)
- Still breastfeeding her; she has been spitting up a bit more lately
- Can sit up (for 20-30 seconds and then falls over)
- Loves eating her feet
- Moves around (rolls and even slithers around) - she even gets up on all fours like she wants to crawl! (she even rolled off of the change table but was fine, thank goodness)
- Sleeps fairly well. Usually wakes up around 1am and then sleeps until 8ish. Likes her fish tank, mobile, and light-up ladybug for falling asleep to.
- Squirms and gets fussy before bedtime but likes when you hold her cheeks and rub her nose
- Smiles lots and giggles too!
- Has been taking short cat-naps throughout the day (30 minutes each and around 3 times per day though sometimes she will have a long 2 hour nap)
- Adores her brothers and loves to giggle at what ever they are doing
- Her brothers love to hold her and even carry her now (with my supervision)
- No teeth yet but she puts everything in her mouth including her hand or her thumb sometimes
- Grabs for things - toys, my glasses, the soother
- Favorite toys are: musical mirror, bumblebee toy, rattles
- Likes being in the Exersaucer and Jolly Jumper
- Loves being outside and having a breeze blow through her hair and face (so Jonas thinks this is the same as blowing into her face, spit and all)
- Loves being in the Baby Bjorn (carrier) and will usually fall asleep in it
- Giggles at her own farts (which are super loud) or if you make fart noises
- Loves when daddy holds her while he plays his computer or XBox games
- Is a very good, calm baby whom we all love very much :)
